As I write this piece, my new book Which Future? Choosing Democracy, Climate Health, and Social Justice is finally for sale at Amazon.com and on its way to local bookstores. I’d like you to buy the book, of course, but my ultimate objective goes beyond book sales. I wrote Which Future? to introduce and promote a new, natural humanist way of thinking about our world and ourselves. My fondest hope is that my blog posts—and the other glimpses of natural humanism on this site—will open conversations and seed a community of interest in these ideas.
This site provides a place where anyone who’s curious about the Which Future? book can find me and keep in touch. (To receive new blog posts and other news by email, just subscribe to my mailing list.) The site also provides a place where one can find an introductory overview of natural humanism or read (and download) selected parts of the book prior to purchasing it.
I hope visitors will take a look at these pieces and take advantage of opportunities here to interact with me and each other about these timely and important ideas. In response to my blog posts, I invite your comments, questions, and suggestions for future topics. Or you can use the Contact page to message me privately to pose questions, suggest a blog topic, or for any other reason.
I plan to write new blog posts regularly, alternating among topics from Which Future?, other authors’ books or articles, and current events that relate directly to my book. I also welcome topics suggested by visitors. I invite anyone who wants to participate in our conversations in other ways to message me about it, including potential guest bloggers with relevant topics or opinions of their own.
Finally, of course, I hope this website encourages sales of Which Future? I wrote the book to be able to paint a complete picture of natural humanism, which is by far the best way to appreciate how its pieces interrelate, coordinate, and complement each other. If you like what you find here, please sign up for my mailing list and share a blog post or the website URL with your social media or email network!

I do hope you can get people to pay attention to your ideas, David!
I hope so, too. The topics and ideas are all too relevant and the problems addressed all too real and serious.
I hope this site establishes a community of thinkers and people concerned about these issues.
David – Thank you expending incalculable amounts of time and energy to articulate your ideas for a new worldview. The world needs (a lot) more thoughtful and caring people like you.
